The Giving Box is curated subscription giving for a better world. When you subscribe to The Giving Box, you’re ensuring your money will directly support organizations doing the most important and urgent work for progressive change. Your subscription donation can be made in honor of a family member or friend who will receive an attractive "virtual box" with information about the organizations they’re supporting and ways to get more involved. The Giving Box is truly the gift that keeps on giving by helping support the important infrastructure necessary to ensure progress on the issues we support. The Giving Box is a project of DemocracyInAction and donations are tax-deductible.

DemocracyInAction, a 501(c)3 nonprofit that has been in operation since 2004 (with a hiatus in operations from 2013-16) with a mission to make online tools that help build a progressive movement. The Giving Box continues that mission by making giving to progressive organizations easier and building the power of the grassroots by supporting the infrastructure already there. DemocracyInAction operates as a donor-advised fund and has already distributed millions of dollars to nonprofit organizations.
